Real Madrid keep a close eye on €100m-rated Chelsea star

Real Madrid reportedly sent scouts to watch Chelsea superstar N’Golo Kante, as the London club took on Liverpool in the UEFA Super Cup in Turkey. Blues lost the final in a penalty shoot-out against the Merseyside club in Istambul, and the west London side missed the chance to win the title after Frank Lampard’s reign.

And it looks like Los Blancos took this opportunity to scout some potential targets. Spanish club scouts were sent to Turkey to watch Sadio Mane, however, the reason for them being there was to keep an eye on France international, who’s been one of the best midfielders in the world for some time now.

La Liga giants will wait until next summer before making a move for N’Golo due to the London club undergoing a transfer ban, something that means they will be without a replacement for Kante for 12 months.

The 28-year-old midfielder is an insane player, and we can easily see why Real Madrid have sent scouts to the European Super Cup to watch the former Leicester player.

N’Golo has been one of the Premier League’s best footballers for several years now, with his presence also being evident in the French national team, as Kante played a massive role in Les Bleus’ 2018 World Cup win.

It’ll be a massive coup for the Los Blancos if they manage to get their hands on French star next summer, a move they look serious about making given the fact that their scouts were in Istanbul to watch him. Spanish giants already signed Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Militao and Rodrygo Goes this summer.
