Red Devils ready to break bank to sign €100m-rated goalkeeper
Red Devils in advanced talks with Atletico Madrid shot-stopper Jan Oblak and planning to make a bid during the summer transfer window. Man United have problems in the back-line as David de Gea linked with several clubs, Lee Grant and Sergio Romero already up to 32 and they need replacement.
Slovenia international is the perfect choice in this situation as he had a great campaign and proved his worth one more time. Norwegian coach set to spend considerable money on the goalkeeper in July when the transfer window opens again. Oblak joined the Spanish club from Benfica in 2014 with a £15m deal.
He became an unchanged figure for the club and won Europa League with them. In this season, Jan played 46 matches and made 24 clean sheets in all tournament. It is a fantastic result, and he can do much more during the next campaign.
Slovenian shot-stopper has contracted with the Los Rojiblancos until 2023, and his release clause is nearly £1000m. He is a regular member of the national team which is already a significant achievement for the footballer. Man United will do everything to sign the 26-year-old goalkeeper this July, but it won’t be easy as Atletico Madrid aren’t going to sell such a prominent person during the transfer window.
Red Devils heavily linked with Ajax shot-stopper Andre Onana, Real Madrid midfielder Isco, Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala, Sporting star Bruno Fernandes, Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic, PSG player Adrien Rabiot and Napoli footballer Kalidou Koulibaly.
