Scottish Champions started negotiations with No.10 ex-Liverpool winger

Celtic and Napoli are both looking to sign Jordan Ibe from Bournemouth. Ex-Liverpool forward was seen as one of the brightest stars in English footballer a couple of years ago and would be a big success in the Scottish Premiership. Hoops would be looking to make a loan bid at this point. Cherries paid £15m to sign him from the Reds back in 2016.

Scottish Champions will have less money to play with now after missing out on the Champions League group stages so unless Bournemouth were willing to take a significant loss there would be a little opportunity of them paying that much.

He made over 40 appearances for the Merseyside club in the league before making a move to Dean Court. Since moving to the Cherries, he has started to fall out of favour and only made 17 league appearances last year. English winger has contracted with Bournemouth until 2020, and his release clause is around €20m.

A move to Italy would also be intriguing given the size of Napoli and the standard of football they play, but a move to Scottish club would surely see him become the first choice and one of the key footballers in the team. Dries Mertens and José Callejón already up to 32 and they need back-up.

A potential forward line of James Forrest, Odsonne Edouard and Ibe would surely be enough to keep the title away from their neighbours for another year. Last season Jordon played 24 matches, scored three goals and provided one assist in all competitions.
