Serie A giants enter the battle to sign €70m-rated Arsenal striker
Inter Milan are reportedly considering a winter transfer window swoop for Arsenal centre-forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. It’s been a difficult campaign for the London club, but Gabon international has been perhaps the only real positive in this side with a fantastic run of form in front of goal.
Pierre-Emerick is undoubtedly one the finest finishers in the world on his day, and Nerazzurri coach Antonio Conte is a fan. Aubameyang could do well to escape Gunners for a bigger club, with Inter able to offer Champions League football this campaign and seemingly a genuine shot at winning Serie A.
There looks little doubt the 30-year-old striker could score plenty of goals in Conte’s side, who could surely provide him with a better platform on which to shine than he currently has at Emirates. Still, the report stresses that selling the former Borussia Dortmund centre-forward in winter looks a tad unlikely.
London club will need to do all they can to hold on to the Gabonese centre-forward if they are to have any hope of reviving their campaign and breaking into the top four, with an exit like this sure to absolutely devastating to the second half of their season. Barcelona are also interested in signing the centre-forward.
Inter Milan have impressive consequences in the Serie A this season as they are leading the table. Nerazzurri signed several footballers during the summer transfer window like Romelu Lukaku from Man United, Stefano Sensi from Sassuolo, Nicolo Barella from Cagliari, Diego Godin from Atletico Madrid and Valentino Lazaro from Hertha BSC.
