Spanish club keep a close eye on €20m-rated Chelsea attacker

London club forward Willian Borges has regularly been linked with a move away from Chelsea. Brazil international has reportedly been offered to Real Madrid. He has regularly been linked with a move away from the Blues with Barcelona and Real both believed to be interested in the attacker.

Willian recently admitted that Blaugrana had made an offer during the summer though Chelsea rejected the deal. But Borges has been offered to Los Blancos. It’s reported that the 31-year-old winger has decided to leave the London club at the end of the campaign with his deal set to expire.

Though while Spanish club have been offered Brazilian attacker, as Los Blancos will not take the forward. It’s claimed that he does not fit what Zinedine Zidane is looking for even though he would be free.

Real Madrid already have plenty of attackers in their ranks with the likes of Lucas Vazquez, Eden Hazard, Vinicius Jr and Gareth Bale at the club. It means Willian could be set to move to the Nou Camp should the Catalan club still be interested.

Willian said last week: “The only real official offer I had came from Barcelona, last year, after the World Cup. “Barcelona indeed presented an offer to Chelsea, but it was rejected.

“That was the only actual time I had to discuss something like this with my family, although we love it here. So several factors helped us in staying.”

Chelsea tend to only offer one-year contracts to footballers over 30. Exceptions to that rule has been made for Olivier Giroud and David Luiz in recent months.
