Spurs started negotiations with £25m-rated Gunners transfer target

Tottenham started negotiations with Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico and planning to make a bid in July when the transfer window opens again. Mauricio Pochettino wants to strengthen the back-line, and his primary target is the Argentina international who has an impressive campaign and paid attention.

He became a regular member of the national team and also helped them to reach the play-off in the 2018 Mundial, but after losing 4-3 against Les Bleus, they kicked out from the competition. It will be difficult to sign him as Arsenal, Liverpool, Man United and Real Madrid also preparing to make an offer during this summer.

There will be a real battle for the footballer, and his price could increase and become much more. Nicolas has contracted with the Jews until 2022, and his release clause is nearly £20m. In this season, he already made 32 appearances, scored five goals and made five assists in all tournament.

It is a fantastic result, and he can do much more with high-class teammates. Tagliafico joined the Dutch club from Independiente in last January with a £4m deal. He became an unchanged figure for the club and played many matches amazingly since joining.

Spurs will do everything to add him this summer as Ban Davies and Danny Rose needs back-up. Tottenham have an excellent result in the Premier League as they are in third place in the table and have a big chance to win the competition. English club also reached the Champions League quarter-final, and they are waiting for the next opponent.
