Stephen Warnock urges Liverpool to sign 20-year-old Ligue 1 forward

Former Liverpool player Stephen Warnock has made a big claim about a possible Kylian Mbappe transfer to Anfield. France international is one of the finest footballers in the world, but Warnock no longer sees much reason for elite talents like him not to want to come to the Merseyside club.

Liverpool have improved hugely under current boss Jurgen Klopp, and Warnock looks to think this could genuinely give the club hope of luring talent like this.

There has been some talk of Kylian being a long-term target for the Reds, and that speculation will only have been fuelled now after Stephen’s message that there’s not necessarily any good reason to pick Real Madrid or Barcelona over Liverpool right now. “It will also depend on the form of Blaugrana and Real Madrid.“

He said: “Would Kylian go to Liverpool? You know what, why wouldn’t he come? Why wouldn’t he want to play with the best footballers in the PL and test himself? “I think the one problem we face over here with footballers like that is they often feel like they can only win the golden ball if they go to La Liga.

“Why can’t there be a shift? Why can’t there be a PL team who dominates Europe for several years? “He is a player who you would love to see in the Premier League. I would like to see him at the Merseyside club. Whether it will happen or not, I’m not so sure. That’s only something he would answer.
