UCL giants planning shock move for €60m-rated Liverpool transfer target
Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing up a transfer deal for Inter Milan centre-back and rumoured Reds target Milan Skriniar. The 24-year-old centre-back is one of the finest defenders in Europe at the moment and would no doubt make a fine signing for most top clubs.
Merseyside club were interested in a summer deal for Milan, but it looks like he’s going to have other offers too. A fresh update from Don Balon states Los Blancos could join the running for the defender and try to get his €80m price tag down by offering one of Luka Modric or Eder Militao as part of the agreement.
One imagines that could be tempting for Nerazzurri, though it stays to be seen how hard they’ll push to keep hold of one of their most essential footballers. Despite Bianconeri’ total dominance of Serie A in recent years, Antonio Conte looks to have turned Nerazzurri into genuine title contenders this campaign, so will want to keep this squad together.
Merseyside club will surely also hope they can stay in contention for Skriniar too, with Liverpool lacking much in the way of backup to the somewhat injury-prone duo of Joel Matip and Joe Gomez. Real Madrid have impressive results in La Liga this campaign as they are leading the table.
Los Blancos added several footballers during the summer transfer window like Eden Hazard from Chelsea, Rodrygo Goes from Santos, Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt, Eder Militao from Porto, Ferland Mendy from Lyon and Alphonse Areola from PSG.
